Dawn Fraser Baths
Built in the 1880’s, Dawn Fraser Baths in Balmain is the oldest pool in both Sydney and Australia. Unlike the other pools on the list, the baths rely on the tidal flow of water from the harbour. Whilst this can affect swimming at times, it also means kids can build sandcastles and play on the beach during low tide. The baths are only open during the summer months, so it’s highly recommended that you make the trip to Balmain this summer and take a dip in this historic pool.

As you can see, when it comes to community swimming pools in the Inner West, you’re spoilt for choice.
So if you live in the Inner West of Sydney, why not leave your lawn care and gardening to Ready Mowing and relax at one of these great local pools this summer!
